Admission & Tuition

ENROLLING SOON FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR!

Admission:

Our admissions process consists of:
• submission of an application form
• payment of a $50 nonrefundable application fee
• payment of a nonrefundable deposit equal to 5 percent of the tuition for the school year (to be applied towards annual tuition)
• and a classroom visit and/or interview for students (depending on the age of the child). Typically done over the summer before the start of the school year.

Parents of incoming students may request to set up a classroom visit to observe our classroom. These observations are scheduled in 15 minute blocks during our morning work cycle and are for parents only.

Children who are applying as new students to our school will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and spending some time in the classroom before they begin school.

All admissions decisions are made after consultations between faculty members and are based on a variety of factors. These include the child’s age, prior Montessori experience, class composition and the compatibility of the parents’ educational philosophy with that of Wildwood Montessori School. New and transferring students are warmly welcomed and quickly become a part of our community. In the event that we are unable to admit an applicant, the deposit will be fully refunded. All enrollments are subject to classroom capacity.

Please note:  All deposits, tuition payments, and fees become non-refundable if the application is withdrawn by the family once placement has been granted.

We enroll children throughout the school year on a space available basis.  Please contact the school if you would like to place your child’s application in our waiting pool.  You are strongly encouraged to start your child in our program by the age of three years old as this is when the building blocks of the Montessori education are set. We do accept students who are older if we have openings, however it is a rare occurrence.

Tuition for 2023-2024 school year:

3 Year Olds (3 by Dec. 1 of that school year)

Half Day 9am-12pm (3 days, MWF) :  $2600/year or $260/month

Full Day 9am-3pm (3 days, MWF) :  $4500/year or $450/month

4 Year Olds (4 by Dec. 1 of that school year)

Full Day 9am-3pm (3 days, MWF) :  $4500/year or $450/month

Half Day 9am-12pm (5 days) :  $5000/year or $500/month

*Prior Enrollment Required Full Day 9am-3pm (5 days):  $5500/year or $550/month

Kindergarten (5 by Dec. 1 of that school year)

Full Day Primary 9am-3pm (5 days) : $5500/year or $550/month

Elementary Grades 1-6

Full Day 9am-3pm :  $5500/year or $550/month

Middle School Grades 7-8

Full Day:  $5500/year or $550/month

Monthly tuition is due on the first day of each month. After the 7th of the month you will be charged a $50 late fee.

Returned Check Policy – Checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $50 fee in addition to the monthly tuition.

Failure to pay tuition will result in dismissal of the student from Wildwood Montessori School.

Families with more than one student enrolled during the same school year will receive a 10% per month discount (deducted from the lesser of the two tuition’s).
